Our STORY

Born from a love of
artistic innovation.

Studio Creatch was founded in 2024 by longtime collaborators Jordan Brownlee and J.R. Wolfe. After years of successful and award winning work on theatre for young audiences, the two creatives expanded their repertoire by partnering with the CA Department of Public Health to craft original educational animated short videos. This effort to bring important health and safety messaging to students all over the nation is only the beginning. Studio Creatch is a spirited original works factory primed to answer the call to serve our community, whatever the need might be.

Our team has experience crafting custom works of animation, puppetry and live theatre. Inspired by the work of Schoolhouse Rock, The Muppets, and The Jim Henson Company, we’ve honed our creative process with a focus on humor and musicality. Our unique multi-medium fusion of entertainment and education gives us the flexibility to meet our audience where they’re at. Whatever message we’re putting out into the world, our expertise and care for the craft ensures its impact and retention.

Animation

Studio Creatch is a creative think tank and producer of educational animated materials. We work with our clients to develop original scripts, music, and visual storytelling languages that best serve their mission and project goals. Working together with our external animation partners, we collaborate to make that vision a reality. Utilizing whatever style fits your budget, our creative team is here to assist you in growing your idea and helping see it leap from the page to the screen.

Puppetry

Puppetry is one of the oldest forms of storytelling and one of our favorite ways to present new and interesting characters. Co-founder Jordan Brownlee is a professional puppeteer with a background in television, music videos and theatre. In addition to his performance work, Jordan collaborates with several clients to design and build puppets, as well as train puppeteers. His experience informs the fun puppet productions we’ll be crafting here at Studio Creatch. Puppetry is an engaging, creative art form that can be used to connect and communicate with young audiences while creating a relatable and often humorous relationship with adults. If your production is in need of any fuzzy friends, Studio Creatch is ready to lend a hand (quite literally).

Theatre

We specialize in crafting original theatre for audiences of all ages. Our team has a history of working in tandem with a diverse range of individuals, small organizations, and governmental bodies to craft custom pieces of theatre in service of their missions. We also believe in the therapeutic value of a work that is just for fun. Whether you desire a bespoke piece of educational theater, an escapist comedic romp, or both rolled into one, Studio Creatch has the experience and skill to step up to the plate and knock it right out of the park.
