The Project

Supported in part by the Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District, Studio Creatch is developing an engaging, puppet-centric PSA to boost bicycle/e-bike safety and sustainable travel. We’re teaming up with local stakeholders and organizations to form an expert advisory board, ensuring our guidance is rooted in community-focused best practices. We’ll use what we learn to craft a series of whimsical, high-energy videos that will break down critical safety and operation topics into accessible segments for riders of all ages. By promoting safe habits and the environmental benefits of electric-assist transit, we are building a cleaner, safer future together. Join us in making our local streets more vibrant—one ride at a time.
Our Goals

The overarching goal is to encourage the adoption of alternative modes of transportation by instilling public confidence in bicycling and e-biking by providing information that will:
- Prevent e-bike related accidents and injuries
- Bring awareness to related health benefits/positive environmental impacts
Alongside our advisory partners, we are identifying and exploring the best ways to address subject matter including but not limited to:
-
- Choosing The Bike For You
- Wearing and Fitting Helmets
- Pre-Ride Safety Checks and Bike Care
- Following Rules of the Road
- E-Bike Precautions/Benefits and Information for Parents
- Using Busses and/or Trains
- Environmental/Health Benefits & Anti-idling
Our Audience
The primary target audience for this project are students in late elementary and early junior high schools. However, taking inspiration from the Muppet Show and Schoolhouse Rock, we intend to make the video an engaging teaching tool for all ages, including parents and other adults considering the adoption of electric assisted transportation options.
